9 day birding trip around the Yucatan Peninsula

Our most popular multi-day tour is a 9-day (7 full days) trip around the Yucatan Peninsula. It covers the main regions and offers the chance to see around 240 species.

Classic Route: 9 days birding in Quintana Roo and Yucatan State (7 full days).

This is a modified and enhanced route compared to what you can find in the itineraries of most major international birding companies. With this route, you will have the opportunity to encounter all the target species without extensive driving or the need to change hotel rooms every night.

12 days tour around the Yucatan Peninsula (10 full days)

​This 12-day tour offers abundant opportunities to observe and photograph the remarkable bird diversity of the Yucatán Peninsula. We will explore the entire region, including the southern portion near the border of Guatemala and Belize, where an incredible tropical forest awaits. This itinerary is ideal for both photographers and birders who prefer a relaxed pace, with several nights spent in each location and minimal driving time.
